Summary for timing plan:
Start the master clock when the first heat of swimmers starts. Have timers stationed at the finish (5 at least) and record time for each participant.
Timers will be responsible for recording actual time on master clock as racer crosses finish line. We will go through and back out the minutes based on heat start times. For example: Racer started in heat 3. Finish time on master clock was 22mins 15 secs. Heats were every 3 minutes. Heat 3 was 6 minutes after the master clock was started, so we subtract 6 minutes and racers time was 16mins 15 secs. |
